I am searching for someones template to modify for my own wedding planning. Decided against the coordinator, I have over a year, I can do this! (I am still convincing myself)

I was going to start making my own excel spreadsheet, with all the tabs, etc. I was hoping to borrow (steal) someone elses. email through profile.

thanks in advance.

I found what I was looking for. I compiled a few worksheets from the knot (i know, i know) into one spreadsheet.

If anyone would like the file, let me know. Once I finish the formatting I can send it over.

just wanted to add that the boy and i made a spreadsheet last week that included a column for probability of coming. the reason being that instead of having each of our families invite 60 people, they get to invite enough so that their probability of coming is 50.

it solved the my family is small but they will all come and his family is large but will not leave north dakota problem!

yes, we are dorks.

We did an Excel spreadsheet for our wedding and it was really helpful. We used it for all kinds of things, including hammering out the seating chart. And we're using it even after the wedding to note which thank-you notes are still outstanding.

I am not a huge computer junkie, but Mr. Parade enjoys tinkering around with gadgets, so I think having the spreadsheet was a good way for him to keep things organized and yet still be kind of enjoyable.

I could be wrong, but I don't think that there's all that many "official" wedding planners on here, and certainly ones that are trolling for business like that. But who knows?

Hey, you might also want to check out dezzdiva's amazing spreadhseet/planning collection. I know I used her indieplanner.xls file for my guestlist and it worked out great! (Obviously you can modify it as needed.)

I did an Excel spreadsheet this week for my wedding, and if anyone's interested they can certainly download it and use it - I have three separate sheets within the worksheet: 1.Wedding Budget vs. Actual Money Used, 2. Reception RSVP Tracker and 3. Thank You Notes/Gift Tracker (or laugh at me for how much my estimated wedding is costing) below:

http://www.agirlapart.com/mycrazyweddingtracker.xls

I can email it to people too - just get me through my profile.

I'm an excel spreadsheet maniac. Smile So far, I've got three:

1. Budget, including columns for "projected budget" "vendor" "actual amount spent" "amount paid" on "what date".

2. Guest list, including a separate column for kids, which helped us to realize that the adults on our list had a total of 19 kids under age 5, and we wouldn't be inviting them. I've now added columns for address, and this will most likely become our RSVP list.

3. Gifts list, including columns for gift, gift giver, date gift arrived, date thank you note went out.

I'm curious, what is your spreadsheet helping you keep track of?

I'm currently rocking out an excel sheet with the following columns:

First Name/Last Name
Acceptance
A/B List
Address
Table #
Guest Group
Gift
Thank You

I've sent it to my FMIL for her to fill in the addresses of that side of the fam and she was like "Wow, you're organized."

i've modified wannabecorin's great spreadsheet by adding about a zillion categories of spending, which i stole from online and magazine planners. email me if you'd like a copy.

i've also just been typing up a master 'to-do' list, which started off in excel (it was hm's, i seem to remember) and then i added a load of categories and now i've moved it to word so that it's more detailed thoughts, like 'flowers-- research cost of wired bouts, check ebay for wrist corsage holders, check wholefoods flowers' etc.

i'd like to have this in excel for the benefit of having extra columns (like 'status' and 'who responsible') but can't seem to fit in the long-ish paragraphs of details in a way i can see it all, which is a problem. excel experts, is there an easy solution to this?

Hi everyone!

First post here; hope I do everything correctly! If anyone is still around on this thread (just noticed its age), could I also get a copy of the spreadsheets? They sound very helpful, and I'm not well-versed enough in Excel to do anything fancy on my own. You can e-mail me through my profile.

Thanks!

Ellienod, I don't know how to attach files in through the profiles or here. But I have both the other ladies' files and one that I created on my own based on theirs. I can email them to you if you want to tell me your email address, either here or through my profile. Sorry I'm not tech savvy enough to cut out an extra step. Rolling Eyes
